We'll have many tractors, engines, signs and memorabilia on display! We will be running tractors and engines! There will be plenty of parking available in our front parking lot.
This year’s Powers Tractor School is bigger and better than ever! Another lineup of great
classes from some of the hobby’s most knowledgeable instructors. It’ll be a full day of topics
like Tuning Tips – How To Improve How Your Engine Runs, Carburetion Explained, What The
Early Days of Collecting Were Like, Live Demonstrations on Babbitt Pouring, Engine Timing,
Clutch Adjustment, From Rust To Running – An Engine Rebuild Story and more!
Stick around the next day for the Pre-30 Auction Open House with scheduled demonstrations
on starting and running a Russell 30-60, Minneapolis 35-70, Rumely 15-30 F, Nichols & Shepard
20-42 and several others. Get your chance for up close learning and even some test drives!
As always, we’ll overload you with good food, good company, lots of stories, laughs and
memories to be made!
All are welcome, but we’re limited on class size, so if you’re interested, please take the time to
register! Due to the amount of space we have for the classroom portion of Tractor School, our

Learn the ins and outs of how a carburetor works and the different designs they were made in.
Discover what makes your engine run well and what doesn’t so you can diagnose potential

the hobby when you could find many of the most highly sought after tractors still on the

Tuning Tips – Making Your Engine Run Better
What makes an engine run great? What makes one run bad? The answers to those questions
will be answered for you during this class! Take home your checklist of things to help your

Update to last years completely stuck Hackney Auto Plow engine. What was done, what it took
and hear it running. A great chronological walk through of what it takes to bring one back from

It’s becoming a lost art! Learn how to safely pour babbit bearings. There are many tips and
tricks to this dangerous procedure. This will be a live demonstration so you can see how it’s

One of the most neglected parts of an early tractor is the clutch. Highly susceptible to wear, it
can actually be dangerous if not set correctly. Learn the things to watch our for and see a
